RFI

RFI

RFI (radio frequency interference) is where traffic being sent and received is affected by other users of the same or very near frequencies. RFI can disrupt your service and data delivery. It can be avoided in most cases by altering your frequencies being used using the tools provided on your radio equipment. It is only rarely that RFI – radio frequency interference – can completely disrupt data traffic (only in the highest traffic areas), but it can slow down your transmissions. If possible, use narrow beam point-to-point or multipoint equipment and turn down the power on your transmission side as much as possible, whilst maintaining your required data transmission levels, to avoid affecting others on a shared frequency basis.
