NOC

A network operations centre (NOC) is where a support organisation has established a presence allowing networked connections to customers’ networking equipment in many different places. This allows a provider of services to maintain support to a customer’s connected equipment from a central location, allowing the monitoring and performance of the customer’s networking equipment to be controlled and the raising of tickets for support to be generated leading to engineering support at the affected site.
