Backup connectivity

Backup connectivity

Backup connectivity is increasingly important as networking connectivity is a key part of a business. For example, you may have a fibre line to connect you to the internet and your wider business services, but you might be advised to install a secondary service to provide you with connectivity continuity in the event of a primary service failure.

So, backup connectivity might be a second fibre connection that runs along a completely separate fibre route and goes to a completely separate fibre service, or more likely, a satellite service or a mobile data routing connection to take over the primary service seamlessly.
